Heritage Open Days

Working as a volunteer today at Priory Visitor Centre (Priory Place CV1 5EX) - well worth a visit to see site of Coventry's first (of three) cathedrals and associated Benedictine priory both destroyed after the dissolution of monestries in 1539. Steeped in history - including the site of the last English parliament to be held outside London. Free entry and tours today as part of Heritage Open weekend which offers a free taste of historic sites across the city.
